Trey Scott joined the Firm in 2015 as an Associate Attorney. He practices all aspects of civil and business litigation before state and federal courts.  Trey has experience in cases and arbitration proceedings involving contract disputes, fraud, business torts, construction, estate disputes, and real estate litigation.  He also practices in the areas of protecting creditor rights in bankruptcy, and debtor/creditor litigation.  Trey regularly represents banks, lending institutions, and other clients in workouts, foreclosures, and receivership actions

 

Trey received his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2015. Before that, Trey received a B.A. in Economics and Business and an M.A. in Accounting from Hendrix College in 2012. Prior to the practice of law, Trey worked in public accounting for a local firm in the area of auditing and attestations.

 

Trey was admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas in 2015. He has also been admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.  Trey is a member of the American Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, and the Pulaski County Bar Association. Trey is a native of Conway, Arkansas.  He and his wife Katie have one daughter, Lola Kate.
